Pul’s wife withdraws SC plea seeking CBI probe into her Husband’s death

Former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul’s wife Dangwimsai Pul today withdrew from the Supreme Court her petition seeking CBI probe into the death. Dangwimsai was seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the allegations levelled by her husband in the suicide note.
Dangwimsai Says the Supreme Court has no business to deal with her letter on the judicial side. She said the letter should have been dealt with on the administrative side.
A bench of Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel and Justice Uday Umesh Lalit allowed Dangwimsai to withdrew her letter.
Dushyant Dave, the counsel of Dangwimsai said that, she had written the letter to the Chief Justice of India to seek permission to lodge an FIR on the basis of a suicide note allegedly written by Kalikho Pul before his death on August 9 last year.
The former Arunchal Pradesh Chief Minister was found hanging in a bedroom of his official residence in the posh Niti Vihar area of state capital Itanagar on August 9 last year.
