Prisoner escape case of Tezu jail: Lohit Police apprehended one Prisoner
Lohit police apprehended one prisoner from Danglat village who escaped from Tezu jail recently.

After massive and well – planned combing search operation launched by Lohit Police from the last two days, finally one Prisoner who escaped from Tezu jail was apprehended yesterday from Danglat village with the active support of villagers.
“We are searching around the clock at the peripheral jungle of township and it’s adjoining villages, our force were deployed in the every outlet to nab the rest three escapes. They fled towards jungle of Changlang ”, informs DW Thungon Superintendent of Police Lohit.
We have also circulated their photos and our phone numbers in the adjoining localities and various cattle farms run in the area to nab them at the earliest, SP informed.
It needs to be mentioned here that on 28 May last 4 (four) prisoner escaped from the District Jail by using makeshift ladder at the broad day light under the noses of district jail authority and police in between 1.30 PM to 2 PM in the afternoon. Among the four escapes, Kalaiso Mepo, Dolu Chakma, Lombu Thapa was convicted under different cases and Pritamber Bhuiyan was Under Trail Prisoner (UTP).
