Nurses team visits OWA to observe International Nurses Day

A team of Trained Nurses Association of India, Arunachal Pradesh, today visited Oju Welfare Association to observe the “INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY .

A team of Trained Nurses Association of India, Arunachal Pradesh, comprising of State President K.T.Yasung, General Secretary Techi Mepung, Deputy Director Nursing Mrs Kijum Karga, TRIMHS Nursing Superintendent Mrs. T.Taikam along with TNAI Executive members And Tutors & Interns of Arunachal Pradesh State Nurshing School, today visited Oju Welfare Association to observe the “INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY .

The team visited the Swadhar Greh, Children Home and Shishu Greh run by OWA. The interns briefed the sheltered women and children on importance of personal hygiene,specially emphasizing on hand washing technique. And An action was demonstrated by the trainee nurses based on personal hygiene. The International Council of NURSES has chosen the theme”NURSES: A VOICE TO LEAD- HEALTH IS A HUMAN RIGHT”, FOR INTERNATIONAL NURSES Day-2018.

To mark the occasion, they donated lactogen, cerelac and biscuits to the orphans. And lauded the service of the organisation towards mankind and offered to provide aid to the organisation whenever required.
