Majic Club Arunachal also came forward for plastic free campaign

Magic Club Arunachal also comes forward for plastic free campaign and organised several programme in collaboration with Radio City 90.8 FM on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti.

Magic Club Arunachal in collaboration with Radio City 90.8 FM on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd October 2019 Displayed Skits and chanted slogans at various places of Itanagar viz. Eklavya Public School, Jollang, Ganga Market, Akashdeep Complex, Babk Tinali, IG Park for Plastic Free Arunachal owing to its Plastic Free Campaign launched by then DC Capiral Prince Dhawan at DPHVIS, Chimpu on 9th October 2018.

The campaign mainly focused on Plastic free Arunachal and Importance of Segregation of Waste.

Chief Coordinator, Plastic Free Mission, Magic Club Kapu Sanjay said that ” Plastic has been ingrained in our life, we can not get rid of plastic in a day, but if we want we can get rid of it slowly.

Prefect Magic Club, Ijum Gadi highlighted in Segregation of Waste viz. Dry Waste which includes Paper, Polybags, wood etc, Wet Waste which includes food leftovers, fruits, vegetables etc which easily decompose, and Sanitary and E-Waste which includes Sanitary pads, diapers, batteries, remote, Medical wastes like syringes ,blades.

Magic club also , also urged the govt. and concern authorities to shift the new garbage dumping ground from the highway side on the way to Hollongi to another area should be far from the residential area.
