Kipa Tai & Menya memorial badminton tournament concludes

The 3rd edition of Kipa Tai & Menya memorial badminton tournament concluded here at IMC hall on Tuesday. A total of 94 shuttlers from different parts of capital complex took part in this tournament which was started on December 7 last and concluded with a colourful function held at the resident of Kipa Babu, former MLA at Papu nallah.
In Men single (Open) Gungte Yangfo emerge the winner while Tana Nama runner and Kipa Piter at 3rd position went away with trophy and cash prize of Rupees twelve thousand, Eight Thousand and Five Thousand respectively.
In Mens double (Open) the pair of Tana Nama and Taring Bapu emerge as winner, Gungte Yangfo and Bunya Tayum remain runner-up while the pair of Kipa Babu and Ngomdir Iter at 3rd position who went away with trophy and cash prize of Rupees Sixteen Thousand, Ten Thousand and Five Thousand respectively.
In Mens Single (veteran) Tana Nama win the first prize, Taring Bapu as Runners-up and Gungte Yangfo at third position respectively who went away with trophy and cash prize of Rupees Twelve Thousand, Eight Thousand and Five Thousand respectively.
In Mens Double (veteran) The pair of D.G Tadar and Gungte Yangfo remain winner , Bunya Tayum and Taring Bapu as runners up while Ngomdir Iter and Kholi Konia pair at third position who all went away with a cash prize of Rupees Sixteen Thousand, Ten Thousand and Five Thousand respectively.
The prizes were distributed by former MLA Tani Lofa, Kipa Babu and IMC Chief Municipal Executive Officer Olik Taring,
IMC CMEO Olik Taring, former MLA Tani Lofa, Kipa Babu, Organising Chairman Tana Nama, Secretary Taring Bapu, and ASBA official Nich Bapu among others were present and address the gathering and encourage the participants and on the occasion.
