ITBP organised Excursion Tour for Border Area Students
During the tour, students will visit important and religious places like New Delhi India Gate, Akshardham Temple, North Block, Golden Temple Amritsar , Attari Border etc.

The 49th Battalion of Indo-Tibetan Border Police force (ITBP )organized an excursion tour for students of Government Senior Secondary School, Tuting (Arunachal Pradesh) under civic action program. The flag-off of the said excursion tour was done by Ashwani Kumar, Deputy Inspector General, sector HQ (Dibrugarh).
Addressing the students on the occasion, Ashwani Kumar, said that the main objective of this educational tour is to connect the students in the extreme areas with mainstream and impart practical knowledge to the students from theoretical knowledge, not only the unity of the students in the country and by developing a sense of integrity, making them responsible citizens.
During the tour, students will visit important and religious places like New Delhi India Gate, Akshardham Temple, North Block, Golden Temple Amritsar , Attari Border etc.
The children will also be given an opportunity to meet the Home Minister Amit Shah during the visit and will also meet Surjit Singh Deshwal Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Children were very happy and excited during the movement.
Commandant and Officers of Multi Purpose Sub Depot and officers of Sector HQ Dibrugarh attended the flag off ceremony of excursion tour. ITBP organized several programs for welfare of border area people under civic action program.
