Capital Police nabbed two Bike Lifter namely John @ Rana Rimo( Age-old 18 yrs) and Modang Hissang( Age-19yrs) from Itanagar. who are residents of Seppa.
Modang Hissang was nabbed near BB Plaza while doing Patrolling and two more co-accused ran away from the spot by jumping at Nalah from the stiff slope near BB Plaza Itanagar opposite Hotel Pybss.
During Interrogation Modang Hissang revealed their intention of roaming at the night hour and in the morning John @ Rana Rimo was nabbed from their rented room at Donyi Colony Jullang. Their ring leader is still absconding and Capital Police is in their toes to nab him.
One stolen Scooty, Yamaha Cygnus Alpha(Meron Colour) Engine No. E3N7E0073986 and Chassis No. MEISE7746E0074034, Knife, 2 nos of Fake number Plates and number of Equipment used to break and open the two wheelers lock were seized from their possession.
During the interrogation they revealed that “they came to Itanagar on 13th of this month and stolen 4 scooties till now. Out of 4 scooties, 2 scooties were taken away by the owners when they were in the hotel and 1 Scooty Ray Z was sold and sent to Seppa. Rest one Scooty recovered by the Capital Police.
Both the accused were handed over to Naharlagun Police as the recovered Scooty was stolen from Jully Tri-Junction area near Papu Nalah which comes under Naharlagun PS Jurisdiction.
Meanwhile this is also the result of continuing efforts and intensive Patrolling by Capital police to minimise two wheelers theft in Itanagar.
