Itanagar Police arrested RWD engineer in defamation case

Capital Police on Saturday arrested one RWD engineer in connection with execution of warrant of Aalo court in a defamation case.
Capital police sources said that a warrant of arrest was pending with Itanagar Police issued by Chief judicial magistrate, Aalo, West Siang district wide GR No, Aalo CR case-01/17 u/s- 499, 500 IPC filed against state VRS Kenba Diyum VRS Nyamar Rike issued on July 19 2017 which was executed today. He was to produced before the CJM court at Aalo on September 4 and the police after arrest sent to CJM court at Yupia for further order.
Nyamar Rike s/o Lt. J Rike is working as an Executive Engineer in RWD department and have been posted at Head quarter as Executive Engineer (Planning) and he was stands charged with offence of 499/500 IPC and Itanagar police was directed to arrest and produced before the CJM court at Aalo the sources said.
Meanwhile the CJM court at Yupia granted bail with a direction to pray before court of CJM at Aalo on September 4 2017 the sources added.
