Itanagar: Pema Khandu launches membership drive for BJP party

Chief Minister Pema Khandu today launched the membership drive for BJP party during the nationwide launch of Sangathan Parv in presence of Union MoS Sports Kiren Rijiju, former MP Ramen Deka and other dignitaries.
Chief Minister in his speech said BJP with the ideology of integral humanism is a party with a difference, a party for poor, farmers, youths and carried the goal of making India a strong nation.
He said state currently faces numerous challenges which only party like BJP can overcome it to make Arunachal a prosperous and developed state. He promised to work with full dedication for the interest of the state.
The programme began with lighting of lamp, several pigeons were releases in air for a symbol of peace. A book on ‘membership drive 2019’ was also released on the occasion by the dignitaries.
Earlier party in-charge former MP Ramen Deka, DCM Chowna Mein, Rijiju also spoke. During the launching programme more than 100 membership drive was carried out. The launching programme concluded with presidential remark from BJP State President

On the occasion several prominent public figures of papum pare district and capital complex joined the party. The prominent leaders which include Nabam Tullon, Yowa Jyoti, Kara Gambo, Ngurang Changriang, Tana Puna Tara, Tana Jiri, Kojum Kino, Tana Pei Tara, Teli Takang, Tana Bado, Nabam Eka and several others.
