Delhi Sikh Samaj Honoured Robin Hibu with “Guru ka Ladla Award “

The most popular person of northeast Robin Hibu, IGP, Joint Commissioner , Rashtrapati Bhavan, honoured with “Guru ka Ladla Award ” by Delhi Sikh Samaj for his social works for distress vulnerable NE people. Sikhs to help distress NE people . IGP Robin Hibu IPS
Robin was presented this year GURU KA LADLA AWARD at Janakpuri West Delhi, at a function attended by Thousand of Sikhs elder from Delhi. they have acknowledged the exemplary initiatives in social works for distress poor NE people in cities .
The Initiatives taken by Robin Hibuare – NE blood banks, Sponsoring free coffins by flights under Akhri Ahuti, Hospitals concession, Concession of diagnostic and imaging, Scholarships for UPSC coaching, Scholarships for orphan NE girls, Burial of Lawaris NE dead bodies, Career counselling, Counselling to distress youth, All india coordinating through volunteers of Helping Hands in distress hours and other youth empowerment strategy.
Robin expressed his heart felt thanks on behalf of NE people for recognition in the social service works for helpless NE people in cities and thanked Sikhs people and their Gurudwaras in Haryana and Punjab for giving free shelter and free foods to the stranded NE people during curfew days at Haryana during Ram Rahim and Jat agitation at his request. They also gave protection inside Gurudwaras during those days of curfew to NE people. I also told them how NE people feel secure when thousands of Sikhs are guarding eastern remote border of our country.
NE folks are deeply touched by their gesture helping NE people in crisis. Also, they are allowing us free cremation for NE people at Punjabi Bagh Crematorium, Sardar Kuldip Chana is the Chairman of this crematorium. So far in 2017, we have cremated 17 NE dead bodies free of cost here, Robin added.
Talking to Arunachal24 Robin informed that ” All Sikh elders, members of Samaj promised me that they will convey it in all India Sikh Forums and empathetically reaffirmed that they would continue to give free shelter and free food in the langars of Gurudwaras all over India even in peace time if any NE people is in dire need or in distress hours”.
” It’s also emotional for me to be honoured by Sikh Samaj, Sikh are known for bravery, patriotism, helpful attitude ….. ” said Robin.
Robin hope that NE people back home will also reciprocate in NE states by honouring those Sikhs who are rendering yeoman social works in our NE states.
