Five days training programme for IOs on NDPS, FSL and evidence collection inaugurated at PTC.

Five days course on importance of various divisions of FSL, Evidence collection and NDPS Law inaugurated today at Police Training Centre, Banderdewa.
Inaugurating the training programme Police Training Centre (PTC) Principal Surendra Choudhary, briefed the importance of this course in collecting evidences and proper evidence based investigation. Narcotics cases are increased in Arunachal Pradesh so latest law on narcotics drugs and substances will also be taught during training.
Investigating officers (IO) from various districts are participating in this training course. Physical Evidence and it’s importance related to NDPS, collection of clues from crime scene, questioned documents and currency, ballistics, Lifting packing labelling and transportation of NDPS exhibits, preparation of forwarding letter for FSL experts, forensic photography, fingerprints etc topics will be included in next five days.
He informed that the very purpose of this course is to make investigating officers more updated and efficient enough to prepare proper charge sheet against real culprits before Court of law .
Training Dy. SP Dusu Kaling, Inspector Chuku Ter, Inspector Alley and scientific analyst Anima Moyong and other staff of FSL also spoke and were also present during the inaugural session.
