Minister Education Taba Tedir today inaugurated the 5th college day celebration of the Binni Yanga Government Women’s College here in presence of secretary education Madhu Rani Teotia.
He also inaugurated the remote sensing and GIS laboratory of department of geography.
While addressing the gathering Tedir urged the students to do classes regularly and be attentive while attending the classes. He also stresses on the time management and urged the students to complete their syllabus and revised it before the exam for securing good marks.
Tedir also said that within next two years they will try to shift the college to its permanent site. The Minister in his response to a memorandum submitted by the college students union assured to fulfill all the grievances of the school
Teotia and college principal in-charge Dr Aruna Gyati Lod also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, College captain Tadu Sumpi also submitted a five point memorandum to education minister on behalf of the college citing the basic requirements for the college.
Sumpi while reading the memorandum said that the college is running with insufficient faculty members and other staffs and demanded to provide a sweeper and sanitary napkin destroyer in college to dispose the sanitary waste in proper ways.
