Arunachal: Secretary WCD & SJETA Visits OWA
During her visit Ms. Niharika Rai interacted with the team of Women Helpline 181 and One Stop Centre (OSC) TRIHMS, followed by interacting with the children of CCI and women survivors sheltered at Swadhar Greh.

Ms. Niharika Rai, Secretary Dept. of Women and Child Development (WCD) & Social Justice Empowerment & Tribal Affairs (SJETA) Govt. of AP, accompanied by Director WCD, Mrs. T P Loyi, Deputy Director ICDS Cell, Yupia, Mrs. A Lowangcha and CDPO Urban ICDS Lenging Tagi visited the Oju Welfare Association (OWA), Naharlagun on Wednesday. The Chairperson, Oju Welfare Association (OWA) along with other staff accorded warm welcome to them.
Chairperson OWA later took all the dignitaries for a quick tour of the integrated complex and let acquainted with all the schemes run by OWA under one roof viz. Arunachal Women Helpline, Child Care Institute (CCI), Lone Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA) of the state, Swadhar Greh (A home for women under difficult circumstances), Loin Loom & Traditional Jewellery making unit, Handloom training centre and vocation training units).
During her visit Ms. Niharika Rai interacted with the team of Women Helpline 181 and One Stop Centre (OSC) TRIHMS, followed by interacting with the children of CCI and women survivors sheltered at Swadhar Greh. Children of CCI presented a song for the dignitaries.
After taking stock of the integrated complex and several schemes run by OWA, Secretary, Dept of WCD, Govt. of AP lauded the relentless effort & services rendered by OWA towards the children and women in difficult situation.
