Arunachal: Saaya inaugurated Upgraded Middle School at Toon

Yachuli local MLA Likha Saaya on Saturday formally inaugurated the Government middle school, Toon under Yachuli which was upgraded from primary to middle standard.
Addressing the function Saaya sought proper coordination between district administration, public leaders and stakeholders, for proper implementation of any developmental scheme for prosperity.
Underscoring significance of community participation in development process, he noted that their involvement can assist in the creation of new policies which are critical to the development of the area.
Talking over development initiatives brought during his two terms tenure as MLA, Saaya said fighting all odds he brought Divisional commissioner office, constructed ADC and PWD, SC office, constructed Stadium and Guest house etc and many are in pipeline.
He also gave a patient hearing to the views, suggestions, grievances at grassroots level put forward by former PRIs members for political and economic development of the area.
Appreciating their suggestion, Saaya stated that being an MLA of the Yachuli, he always gave first priority to the development of his constituency and its people before his personal interest.
Stating that being a people leader is so much harder than it looks, however Saaya asked the people not to solely depend on him or government to act saying that review of the governance process requires the inputs of everyone.
Further responding to 3 point memorandum submitted by school development committee, Saaya asked the DDSE Ziro to taken care of the demands for construction of boundary wall, additional news classrooms for class VI and VII using his quota under Chief Minister’s Samast Shiksha Yojana including other basic requirements of the school.
He also assured to provide fund for construction of CC pavement road from Toon to Government College Yachuli very soon.
ADC, Yachuli JT Toko Obi in his address called for collective effort from all sections of society.
Raising concern over degrading quality of education due to absentees and fading teacher -students relationship , DDSE, Hibu Tama urged everyone to report such unprofessional behaviour if ever detected to him so that action can be initiated against the defaulters.
Mentioning that many govt run schools are in defunct condition due to less enrolment of students, he called for reviving such schools through triangular effort from community, political and administrative level.
Admitting that previous CCE pattern policy has ruined the quality of education in state, Tama divulged that following dismal performance of last year CBSE result, remedial measures has been taken up to revamp the education scenario in the district.
Former, ASM, Chairperson, Joram Eliu and former ,ZPM, Joram Sala called for ending “money culture” during election and advised the people to cast their votes to eligible candidate who deserves to reach the assembly and strives for public rights.
Circle officer,Tana Yaho, AEs,PHED and PWD, Secretary, BJP, State Yuva Morcha, Joram Tat, executive members of District Mahila Morcha, GBs, former PRIs, public attended the development meeting.
