In a letter send to ECI and submitted to DEO Kurung Kumey, Taram claimed that the re-polling took place on 21st May last at Gaa Village which is 12 km away from Nampe village.

Stating that it takes 8 hours trek to reach Nampe from Damin on foot, he claimed that the polling team left Damin at 5 am. “The to and fro journey usually take 16 hours but the polling team managed in only 13 hours including conducting of re-poll which is totally not possible,” said Taram  reasserting that re-poll was conducted at Gaa village and not in the designated polling station.

He further claimed that the polling team could not reach the Polling Station because of the suspension   bridge over Pania which was the only way to reach Nampe was destroyed by BJP supporters.

It is to mention that on Tuesday Taram have also submitted a letter to DEO, Kurung Kumey have demanded  for cancellation of voting of 28 Nampe polling station alleging that around seventy  genuine voters and NPP supporters of 28-Nampe polling station were not allowed or could not reach to 28-Nampe polling station due to road toward Nampe village was completely blocked.

However the Nirvachan Bhawan sources on Tuesday have inform that 6 Gimba polling station under 20 Tali assembly constituency under Kra Daadi district have concluded while there was no proper information of voting at 28 Nampe polling station of 21 Koloriang assembly constituency.
