Arunachal Pradesh reports 220 fresh Covid-19 cases

Thirty  out of  220 fresh cases are Symptomatic  and rest 190 new patients are asymptomatic.

Itanagar-  Arunachal Pradesh reported 220 fresh COVID-19  cases on Monday, which  taken the state’s virus count to 12367, said a report of health department.

Eighty eight   of  the 220  fresh cases were reported from Itanagar Capital Complex,  23 from West Siang, 16 cases from East Siang, 13 from Upper Subansiri, 11 each from Tirap and Changlang, 10 from Lower Dibang Valley,  8 from Lohit, 6 each from  West Kameng, Upper Siang,  5 from Lower Subansiri,  4 each from from  Longding,   and East Kameng,  3 from Kamle,  2 each from Lower Siang, Namsai , Siang, and Papumpare, 1 each from Pakke Kessang, Tawang, Anjaw, and Kurung Kumey.

Thirty  out of  220 fresh cases are Symptomatic  and rest 190 new patients are asymptomatic.  All of them have been admitted to COVID care centres, the report said.

Today  171  more people have recovered from the disease. They have been advised 14-day home quarantine and self-monitoring upon their release from hospitals, report said.

The Itanagar Capital Region comprising Itanagar, Naharlagun, Nirjuli and Banderdewa areas has so far registered 4626 cases, the highest in the state, followed by Changlang ( 1001 ) and Papum Pare ( 800 ).

Of the 12367 cases, 2940 are active while 9403  people have recovered, 24 patients have died, and  268759  persons  have been tested so far.
