Arunachal polls: PPA declared Mongol Yomsa as MP candidate for Arunachal East

Mongol Yomso quit Republican Party of India  (RPI) ,  gets PPA Ticket for Arunachal East Lok Sabha Seat.

Peoples party of Arunachal (PPA) today announced Mongol Yomso as East Arunachal Parliamentary candidate for PPA. The announcement was made by PPA central committee chairmen Kamen Ringu here at Arunachal Press club today.

Responding the questions of the reporter Yomso said that PPA as a regional party we will be going to focus on the interest of regional development as well as state development, he said that the statehood amendment act is wrongly putted on article 371(H) to Arunachal Pradesh, but some of other state like Nagaland has given 371(A) , so may first agenda or motives will be 371(A) for the Arunachal Pradesh if I will get elected as MP, where all land and environment forest resource  rights will remain in state and its indigenous people. But article 371(H) the rights are in hands of central government he added.

And second agenda will be the Citizenship amendment bill, because this is not good for the state and we will strongly oppose this bill. And future if PRC issue again come out I will be raise the voice against it and I will be works for the interest of the indigenous people, interstate boundary issue, and interest for the youths of the State, he said.

Yomso however said that he have worked for Republican Party of India  (RPI) and was the state president for more than 1 and half years and applied for party ticket for more than 10 aspirants for several assembly constituency and the tickets was given to him but citing technical reason the tickets were called back and due to non issue of the party ticket till today there was no option but to resigned from party and hope there is non to contest from RPI as of now. He said.

However Ringu said that the party have issued the first list of candidates  recently where Nine candidates for assembly constituency were announced alongwith Subu Kechi for 1 Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency. However advocate Techi Tolu who was seeking party ticket have been nominated as party ticket from 13 Itanagar assembly constituency.

As of now the regional PPA have issued party ticket to Nine candidates for assembly and two candidate for both Arunachal West and East parliamentary constituency.
