Arunachal: Pedung village celebrates it’s 21 foundation day

The villagers of Pedung village celebrated 21 foundation day of their village at Pedung village, situated 4km away from main town Bomdila, in west kameng District.
Dorjee Tsering, who is the chairman of the Bomdila lamp on his address delivered brief speech on foundation of Pedung village, he advised to the villagers to wear our traditional dress, speak our traditional dialects.
GB Passang Monpa on his address appeal to the villagers to maintain law and order in the village as this village is the nearest to the district headquarters, this village is one of youngest village of the district, which was inaugurated by Kardu Taipodia, Minister PWD Govt of Arunachal pradesh in the year 1998, this village is one of the unique village in entire west kameng district, this village is inhabited by Tawang Monpa, Dirang Monpa, Kalaktang Monpa and miji tribe.
Melodious song and traditional dance was performed. Games like tug of war, blind hit and short put was played among the villagers.
