Arunachal: NDRF conducts door to door cleanliness drive

NDRF 12 battalion ‘E Coy ‘ based in the capital complex today organise and conduct cleanliness drive and door to door campaign on cleanliness on the occasion of 4th Anniversary of “Swachh Bharat Mission” at  SRPL and Police Colony of Ward  no 03, Chandranagar.

NDRF Inspector (Gd)  Mintu Sonowal with his team member carried out the cleanliness drive and awareness campaign in the area supported by former IMC Councillor Tarap Targu and his team.

Inspector Sonowal appealed to all to make the area clean, green and hygienic to have a good environment and make the area disease-free. also added that this drive is part of “Swachh Bharat Mission”  which is a nation-wide campaign in India for the period 2014 to 2019 that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of the India’s cities, smaller towns, and rural areas.

Former councillor Tarap Targu o said that cleanliness drive is not enough to clean the entire area in a day, but we should develop this habit day by day.
