Arunachal: Jarjum Ete joins JDS, to Contest for Arunachal West LS Seat

Within two days of her resignation from Congress, Jarjum Ete joined JDS and nominated as JDS candidate to contest Arunachal West LS Seat.

Finally Jarjum Ete Gamlin nominated as the official candidate of the Janata Dal (Secular) to contest the Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency.

Talking to the Media, Jarjum Ete informed that there would be a challenge to reach all the areas of 33 assembly constituency in the jurisdiction of the constituency and almost half of state with a vast geographical area. But the work which she have done in last thirty four years for the welfare of women and children including tribal right of the people will except her and the people of the state will acknowledge her works.

Ete  is a deserving candidate for which she ask for party ticket from congress but  could not make a space,  there was a complexion for me to get a platform and support and for which I have joined JDS and get party ticket,

She allege sitting incumbent MP and union minister of state for Home Kiren Rijiju silence on the CAB episode. We have seen his performances in parliament and people will judge this time.

It is to mention that the JDS have released 11 candidate for assembly constituency while Bandey Milli to contest from Arunachal East Parliamentary constituency and today Jarjum Ete from Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency.

So far congress have announced its candidate for both Arunachal West and East, former Chief Minister and sitting MLA from Sagalee Nabam Tuki and former Home Minister James L Wanglat to contest  from Arunachal West and East parliamentary constituency respectively.

It is expected that several national and regional party like BJP , NPP, JDU, RPI, Forward Block will be announcing their candidate soon before last date of nomination on March 25.
