Arunachal: Itanagar Police recovered huge catch of stolen two wheelers

In a major breakthrough, Capital Police today recovered a huge catch of stolen two wheelers while investigating the Itanagar PS case  no.62/18 u/s 379 IPC.

The team of capital police led by SDPO Itanagar K. Sikom, along with OC PS T. Bage, SI L.Kamcham, SI N.Nishant , ASI A.K  Jha, Const Kojum Mosi and party of Itanagar PS under the close supervision of SP Capital Shri Sagar Singh Kalsi, IPS had recovered stolen motorcycles –  (1)Bullet- Enfield-2 nos, (2)Yamaha FZ bike-2 nos, (3) Pulsar-1 no, (4) Avenger- 1no,  and (5) Scooty -5 nos from various locations of Itanagar, one from Banderdewa ,two from Ziro and one from Tezpur Assam.

Another two more motor cycles recovered at Seppa police station which is yet to be brought at Itanagar. In this connection, one accused person has been arrested so far who sold out the stolen motorcycles to various customers and Police are on toes to arrest the culprits who are absconding now and involved in various bike lifting cases in the Capital Complex area.

SDPO Sikom while inform that the above recovery made on the basis of information revealed from the arrested person.

He said that now-a-days various bike lifting cases has been reported in the Capital Complex area and he has been pursuing the matter with his counterparts and Police Stations of neighbouring districts as well as the state of Assam. The above recoveries have been made with the active efforts and support of Dy SP Ziro, Dy SP Seppa and Tezpur Police.

He said that all those bike lifters should either  leave involvement in such bike lifting case and do some short of job which give a honourable life to live . He also appeal the citizens to lock their vehicle and park in safer place and do not park their vehicle in any busy or isolated area which are easy area of these lifters.
