Heavy hailstorm on Saturday evening has caused extensive damages to crops and houses, rendering hundreds of people homeless in Tarasso and Balijan circle.

More than hundred family of Tarasso and Balijan circle have been badly affected by the hailstones and heavy rainfall on Saturday evening.
The Director Disaster Management department Kanto Danggen while confirming the report of hailstone fall in part of papum pare district said that more than hundred family have been badly affected by natural fury.
He said that as per report the hailstone was received from Tarasso and some parts of Balijan Circle, but the extent of damage is yet to received from the district.
Meanwhile few local leaders of the area said that CGI sheet roofing of several dwelling house have been severely damaged while standing crops have been damaged and the poultry and birds have also died due to impact of the strong wind and heavy rainfall and hailstone.
NPP candidate of 14 Doimukh assembly constituency Nabam Vivek today appeal the state government and district administration to grant immediate relief to the victims of the hailstone
BJP candidate Tana Hali Tara also visited few villages of Tarasso circle and assured help during the hour of crisis.
