Arunachal: DID little master Tamman Gamnu given warm reception

The 12-year-old Tamman Gamnu, Little dancing star of Arunachal who secured the second runner-up in Dance India Dance season 4 was warmly received by the well-wishers and relatives at Naharlagun railway station on Sunday.

The little dancing star was honoured with the garlands by well-wishers, fans, family members and relatives gathered to welcome their little master and have snap pictures at the railway station.

Speaking to the media persons, Tamman’s father, Taga Gamnu expressing his gratitude to all the well-wishers said that due to the enormous support from the people of State, Tamman’s journey and talent embarked this far and become second runner-up in a most well-known reality show DID.

“Now, mainland India knows that our state has many hidden talents which need exposure in a bigger platform” He added.

Tamman Gamnu DID 2nd runner-up overwhelmed with the warm reception, expressed his gratitude and shared his four-month-long journey of DID season 4 which has changed his whole persona and confidence level which began from Itanagar, Guwahati, Kolkatta to Mumbai. He said that I cant say how many people have supported but the love and affection which have been given to me which have resulted me to get the 2nd Runners u and I will naturally try my best and will never turn back and will participate in all such event of state level, regional and national.

Further stating Tamman stressed to do more intense hard work in the future to make State’s name in the bigger arena to pay back all the support of the people of Arunachal Pradesh.

When asked about like and dislike in these four month, he politely replied the most important which I was missing was our traditional food “boil food’ and today I come back and shall have lots of boil items. He share his happiness with some of his fellow friends who come to meet his at his resident at Pachin Colony and encourage/motivate them to do so what he have done for the name and fame of his community, society and state.

The Gumbin Welfare Society, President Ranjeet Gamnu in a statement have extended his gratitude to the like minded people, students, youths and all those from state and region, he said that the state Dignitaries who support Tamman Gamnu financially and by voting him are highly appreciated and appeal them to continue such support even if any one from any parts of state contest in such competition for the name and fame of our state. He also thanks Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju, Chief Minister Pema Khandu and former BJP President and Advisor to Chief Minister Tai Tagak for their support.

The runner up of reality show Dance India Dance, Taman is a student of class-6 in K V -2, Itanagar hails from the remote Janering village Upper Subansiri District of Arunachal Pradesh. His father Taga Gamnu is working as peon in the Department of Labour commissioner and mother is a housewife.
