Arunachal: ATCO resolves to work for the betterment of Abo-Tani community

Abo Tani Clan Organisation (ATCO) in its 1st coordination cum central executive meeting held here at a city hotel resolved to work in the greater interest of the people of Abo-Tani community in state.
Addressing the meeting ATCO President Tapa Ruji inform that the main motto of the coordination meeting was to interact with each other among the central and district unit to work together for better future of the people. It was actually to establish coordination among the executive members to create several types of awareness program on social, political and cultural activities for promotion of culture, tradition and ethos of Abo-Tani Community. The organisation will organise awareness camp in various parts of the people living in Abo-Tani belt to re-achieve it’s lost glory
Speaking to media Ruji said that we have discussed various issue confronting the organisation, like unification of Abo-Tani community, organising of awareness on social evils, communal harmony. We have resolved to work in close coordination of CBOs and other elected leaders of Abo-Tani community.
We will continue to demand for creation of Department of Abo Tani Cultural Affairs (DATCA) and we shall work together for the betterment of community brothers for development of socio economic of the society.
We will also work for preservation of tradition, culture and identity of tribal’s and we will emphasis for creation of common literature among the Abo-Tani community.
General Secretary Kipa Natung in his address said that the important demand for the ATCO shall be creation of department of Abo Tani Tradition and cultural Affairs. We should first try for establishment of organisation office in capital complex, organising of awareness programme in various parts of state for preservation of tradition, culture, celebration of foundation day of ATCO, to organise meeting with various CBOs and elected representative of Abo-Tani clan for better Arunachal, there are various issue confronting the tribal community which need to be discussed in broader aspect with other like minded organisation of society.

We have to show our face to society for good works and no one will be allowed to further damage the society in the name of cast, creed and community rather there is a need of communal harmony for happiness, peace and prosperity and among various communities of Abo-Tani brothers.
Spokesperson Hiba Kaha, Convener Jumi Loya, ATCO AGS (Upper Subansiri Unit) Jigir Bulo, Speaker Yora Tachik, district Unit president from Upper Subansiri, Upper Siang, West Siang, Siang, Lower Subansiri among others also address the gathering.
