Arunachal: APSCS &T facilitates young Innovator Tadar Anang

Arunachal Pradesh  State Council for Science & Technology ( APSCS &T ), Dept. felicitated the young Innovator Tadar Anang.

Tadar is  awardees of Pandit Denanath Award 2016, Dr. A.P. J Abdul Kalam IGNITE Award 2017, and also  represented India in 3rd BRICS Young Scientist Conclave 2018, held at Durban South Africa during 25th June to 29th June and promoting innovation in the state.

Addressing the function as chief guest A.P. State Council for Science and Technology Chairman Bamang Mangha in his address said that Tadar should be an inspiration and example for others young children of state. Everyone have hidden talent and idea which need to be inculcated into a reality which could solve some problems of people through a innovative idea with technology for a solution.

He also stress that time has come that each individual joins there hand to make the society innovative.

Secretary Science & Technology, Er. Gaken Ete in his address stresses on building of ecosystem for converting the innovation into enterprises. He demands for Promotion of cutting-edge technologies alongside grassroots innovations, so that a pipeline for future can be generated. He told that North East region is a treasure house of Innovation with a wide area of indigenous knowledge System, Medicinal Plants, Water Harvesting, Agriculture Practice, Handlooms and Craft, etc. Only thing is needed to add technology to these innovations and convert them into industrial product for national and global market.

Director cum Member Secretary, A.P. State Council for Science & Technology C.D. Mungyak appreciate the effort of NIF to promote innovation in the state and told that Innovation is a key factor for growth and sustainable development of society, state or Country. It can be in technology, industry, education, business, management and even at workplace.

APSCS&T Joint Director Dr. Debajit Mahanta Itanagar, explains the steps taken up by State Council for Science &Technology to promote innovation in the state.

Giving away his presentation  Tadar urges to the student community that success could not achieved in a day it requires continuous effort and testing.

He urge upon the students friends to work hard and become a professional and serve the family, community and state and country at the same time always try to become an exemplary and become a leader and perfect in all sphere of life like education, sports etc.

The programme which include the felicitation and interaction of the young innovator with the students of state capital at the Science Centre  on Friday last.

 About 250 students from different schools of capital complex participated in the programme and interacted with the students and motivated them to serve the motherland with determination.

Resource Person NIF scientist Dr Nitin Maurya during his introductory speech explains about the different platforms for promoting innovation from both formal and informal sectors. While promoting the “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE” Award he explains that how an idea can be awarded, by telling a success story of small child who gave an idea of adjustable walker for orthopedically challenged persons. An on spot idea competition has been also conducted during the programme.

AP State Remote Sensing Application Centre H.K. Dutta, Deputy Director P. Lombi, Project Scientist Duniyak Ado, Joram Aku, science centre Curator Dr. Vivek Kumar among other were present on the occasion.
