Arunachal: APCC Celebrated Gandhi Jayanti

The Padayatra started  with the song ‘Raghu Pati Raghav Raja Ram ,Patit Pavan Sita  Ram’.

Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) stormed the Capital with Padayatra to commemorate Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The Padayatra started  with the song ‘Raghu Pati Raghav Raja Ram ,Patit Pavan Sita  Ram’.
Nabam Tuki President APCC, . Lombo Tayeng CLP, W.Lowangdong former Deputy Speaker, Ninong Ering former Union Minster, Bosiram Siram  former Education Minister, James Wanglet , Congress Frontal Organisations, Congress Worker,Well Wishers, School students of Pvt. Public & Govt School participated in the Yatra at large.
The Padayatra was followed by floral and musical  tribute to Gandhi Ji portrait . Students from NRITYANGAN DANCE AND MUSIC ACADEMY presented bhajan and musical dharma on Communal harmony with musical theme ‘Sabarmati Ke Sant ne Tune Kar diya Kamal’.
The Celebration  continued with Public Seminar till late afternoon where resource person  from different establishments participated.

Dr. A.K Mishra -State Liaison Officer DHTE , Dr. S.K Sharma-Retd  professor DNGC and Dr. Apurva Ranjan-Lecturer W R college ,Deomali spoke on non-violence, truth, patriotism and life & teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.
Nabam Tuki ,President APCC  while addressing  the gathering said that celebrating Gandhi Jayanti every year with great enthusiasm  is not only to remember his courageous deeds. In fact , it is a celebration of ideologies  which has given us decades of freedom and liberty.It is a celebration  to signify the revolution which made India to grow and shine.
Further ,  Prize and certificates were distributed to the winners of Essay writing competition  which was organised by APCC on 28th September 2019.
APCC will continue to observe the week long Celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi till 9th October 2019.
