Arunachal: ACCI extends support to CM Khandu for bringing normalcy in Itanagar

Members of Arunachal Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI )  called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu today to extend their support in bringing normalcy in the state capital and in creating favorable environment for business activities to resume.

The members present recommended several measures for the state government to be taken to restore confidence among the trading community of the state capital. They suggested proactive response of police force, installations of CCTVs in vulnerable areas, erection of beat offices and other measures.

Chief Minister in his response said the state government stands in solidarity with the losses suffered by the trading community and assured to make the chamber a part of its assessment committee to ascertain the losses. He said the protesting student community cannot be blamed for the losses of private properties and large-scale arson and looting but the unwanted elements. Such unwanted elements will be traced out and will be booked, said the CM.

Chief Minister further welcomed the assistance of chamber for reopening of all shops in state capital areas and assured all possible security measures to alleviate fear among the traders.
