9 passengers injured when Dimapur to Pasighat Night Service Bus met with an accident near Banderdewa this morning at around 5:00 am. 27 passengers were on board.

Dimapur to Pasighat Blue Hills Night Service Bus bearing registration No. AS – 01KC – 6252 met with an accident near Banderdewa this morning at around 5:00 am. As per available information no fatality or major injury. Passengers received with Injuries were taking care at near by Dolpur PHC with the help of local Police and Public.
The accident took place at around 6 Kilometre from Banderdewa check post. As per information there were 27 passenger in the bus It is further learnt that other passengers shifted to Banderdewa.
Sources from Banderdewa Police station said that around 9 person have received injuries of which four passengers are under observation at Dholpur Public Health Clinic (PHC) while two sustained gracious injury of which are the Driver and his assistant. Few more passengers also sustained minor injury who were discharged after proper medication there.
Narayanpur Police under North Lakhimpur district of Assam is further investigating the matter and other detail is awaited.
