Arunachal: 46th AP Police Raising Day celebrated with Quiz Competition

As a part of run up to the 46th AP Police Raising Day on 8th Nov’2018 Papum Pare Superintendent of Police Tumme Amo, APPS conducted a quiz competition on Laws like Indian Penal Code (IPC) Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), Investigation Evidence Act (IEA) and Minor Acts related to POSCO Acts among the Officer In-charges, Investigating Officers and Police personnel at SP office, Yupia conference hall today on 8th Oct’18.
Five teams comprising Crime Branch, SP office, Yupia, Police Stations Kimin, Sagalee, Balijan and Doimukh took participated in the Quiz Competition. The Doimukh Police Station emerged as the winner.
Earlier, SP Tumme Amo informed that as part of run up to the 46th APP Raising Day on 8th Nov’2018, games and sports, literary competition like Quiz and other related activities are being conducted among the police personnel at zonal level and team selected team will participate in the state level competitions. Such quiz competition like activities will help in motivating the personnel to build up their knowledge and self confidence by keeping themselves updated on laws and its implications. He exhorted the Officers and police personnel to keep themselves active and updated on various laws to perform their work in a better way.
Prior to the quiz competition, SP also conducted a monthly crime review meeting with Officers In-Charges and Investigating Officers of Balijan, Sagalee, Kimin and Doimukh to discuss and review the pending cases and reason for its pendency and necessary instructions were given to OCs and IOs.
