One passengers died on spot and nine passengers including a minor sustained serious injuries after a Tata Sumo passenger vehicle lost control and rammed into a divider in the morning hours on Wednesday.
The vehicle bearing registration number AR-04A 7444 overturned near Assam’s Biswanath Chariali along the National Highway 15 today morning. Passengers were on the way from Itanagar to Dirang .
The driver of the vehicle— Kanu ( Kalu ) died on the spot.
The injuried identified as Moina Boro(33), Lamu Pada(45), Sanjay Sagar(50), Chumpi Gumpa(44), Moina Tana(12), Parmu Laju(50) and Ramijami Lahmu(22) were immediately rushed to the nearby Biswanath Primary Health Care Unit.
