Army organise Medical Cum Vet AID Camp


As a part of Operation Sabhavana, a free medical cum veterinary Aid camp was Conducted by the Indian Army at village Runikhata in Chirang District in Lower Assam on 02 Feb 2016.

Army doctors and veterinary dresser from Army, Paramilitary and civil veterinary surgeons & doctors also contributed their free service and aided the populace & animals of the area.

A total of 1123 cases of  men,  women, & children of the area were benefited from the camp.

Besides this, a total of 810 cases of cattle and other animals benefited.

Free check up & medicines were provided to the people.  De-worming and vaccines were also provided to the livestock to prevent the diseases. The local populace wholeheartedly welcomed the camp as an initiative to better their lives.
