ABSU slams education department for appointment of non-Bodo Medium teacher in Bodo medium Schools

The All Bodo Student’ Union (ABSU) strongly slammed the state Education department for appointment of non-Bodo Medium teacher in Bodo medium Schools which the state education department recently appointment.

In a press conference held at Bodofa house in Kokrajhar ,  Kwrwmdao Wary Asstt General Secretary ABSU on Tuesday said over fifteen schools in five districts of the state has given appointment, where the state education department is going take policy for kill the bodo language.

He mentioned that at Gohpur Bodo ME School in Biswanath District two non bodo teachers named Rup Konwar Mili as Science Teacher and Hajra Khatun as Hindi Teacher, Kulabali Bodo LP School in Lakhimpur district Jyotirmoy Sarkar, In Kamrup District at Guliapara LP School, Bainabita LP School,Pachia LP School and Rajakhat LP School appointment non bodo teachers named Ananta KR Thakuria, Jayanta Das, Narjiara Begum and Pallabi Priya Das, In Sonitpur District at Silikhabari LP School, Barpukuri LP School, Hagarajan LP School, and Grmara Kochari LP School  appointment non bodo teachers named as Chitralekha Das, Bakalab Sarkar, Jiban Nepal and Rina devi. In Dhemaji District schools like Naharbari Navadaya ME School, Pachim Gogamukh ME School, Bordandi Boro ME School Somkong ME School and Madhya Mingmang Kadaamguri ME School appointment non bodo teachers named  as Biswajit Boruah, Rashnirekha Hazorika,Mayasree chetiya Phukan, Pranjit Sarmah, Jiten Tamuli and Nitul Das.

Wary said that this will be the much dangerous policy of the state education department to tarnish the generation of the Bodo Medium and identity of Assam.

The ABSU is very much concern towards the dreaded policy of the Assam education department to destroy the Bodo Medium education in Assam he said. He also demanded to replaces the appointment non bodo teachers.
