Arunachal: Nabam Rebia Visits flood hits Hollongi Patila village

Minister of Land Management, Women and Child Development and Department of Tribal Affairs and the MLA of Doimukh Constituency, Nabam Rebia visited Hollongi Patila village which was reportedly inundated due to heavy downpour and by river water of Panka Nallah.
Rebia who accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Joram Beda, ADC In- Charge cum Nabam Tajik, all concerned head of departments and Dy. Commandant 12th Bn NDRF Pranab Daimary .
Rebia inspected the affected area and interacted with the locals and assured every possible solution to their problem. He directed the EE WRD to workout the plan to protect the area from further inundation.
Rebia while directed the District Medical Officer, Papum Pare to deploy the medical team on the spot to monitor the situation and give health care facility to affected people.
As per team observation 19 houses have been affected causing untold miseries to the inhabitants.
Rebia while taking to media said that situation at Hollongi Patila is grim, I have visited the area once earlier but today asses the ground reality, the village in inundated by flash flood, heavy downpour and due to blockage of a huge drain in free flow of the rain water and water of Panka Nallah.
He have directed the DC and ADC Incharge Balijan to take legal action to clear the blockage due to construction of a wall soon. Rebia added.
