Yingkiong- Khandu Inspects under construction 50-bedded district hospital

Chief Minister Pema Khandu today inspected the under construction of the 50-bedded multi-storied district hospital, executed by PWD department.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, RD Minister Alo Libang, State BJP President Tapir Gao, MLA Olom Panyang and Commissioner PWD B Pertin accompanied him.

The Chief Minister inspected the facilities in the new building of the district hospital that included a conference hall, Doctor rest room, office room, major/minor OT room etc.

He interacted with the hospital authorities and enquired regarding any shortages in the facilities.

The Chief Minister appreciated the quality of work and said that upon completion it will be one of the best hospitals building in the state.

He also urged the department to expedite the work so that the patients may be able to avail its facilities at the earliest.

The hospital building is being constructed at Rs 13 crore.  DMO Dubom Bagra submitted a memorandum for procurement of PVC bed and construction of permanent boundary wall around the district hospital complex.
