Transforming India Program should be intensify

Anjaw-

With a mandate of intensifying grassroots involvement in the remote border district of Anjaw towards the Transforming India Program of the Niti Ayog , a District Level Coordination Meeting  was conducted at district headquarter Hawai under chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner Anjaw.  Highlighting the encouragement incentives and facilities being  given by the Government of India to performing Panchayats and Districts , Deputy Commissioner Mamata Riba urged  upon the stakeholders to  actualize digitail governance   and the cashless  financial set up .

A Video Tutorial  on UPI, USSD, Aadhaar enabled payments ,wallets ,and card payments was facilitated through NIC Anjaw through Field Engineer Mrinal Dutta  to familiarize the stakeholders with alternative modes of cashless transaction.

The District Administration Anjaw , albeit beset with extreme shortage of SBI Officials and extremely erratic net connectivity has endeavoured to  conduct meaningful orientation and has  been conducting Fiscal Literacy Camps cum demonetized currency deposit camps once a week throughout December month so that uninformed villagers can avail bank facilities at their doorstep  .

A  resolution was also passed for  stepping up of activities for  digital linkage for  payments and for increasing video tutorials at the village level through Administrative Officers given tough terrain and low density of population.

Further  a unanimous decision was taken, in line with rice distribution  initiatives  followed in other  districts ,  to declare 3rd week of every month as special campaign dates for  food grain distribution throughout  the district under supervision of Administrative Officers, Gaon Burahs and Panchayati Raj Members.

Meanwhile Anjaw District Administration , had on 30th November 2016 set up Jeevan Pramaan Kiosk in Deputy Commissioners Office Establishment, with the DDMO Anjaw Shri S Tayeng as Nodal Officer and DIO Dhiraj Kumar as Coordinator.
