Tezu- Dr Mohesh Chai inaugurates Medicine Store Building at Tezu General Hospital

Dr. Mohesh Chai, Minister AH&Vety, DD, Art & Culture and Research inaugurated the District Medicine Store Building at Tezu Zonal General Hospital in presence of Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki, here today.
Most of my professional life was spent in this hospital to serve my people and in the present capacity also, I will do best for my people and providing the best possible health care in the district itself is one of my primary commitment and concern, Dr. Chai told later in a meeting held at DMO Conference Hall.
Executed by the Water Resources Department Tezu, the District Medicine Store will cater to the safe storage of medicines.
He informed that he will pursue with the State Government for infrastructure development of the Zonal Hospital Tezu which also renders health services to other districts like Anjaw, Namsai, Lower Dibang Valley, Dibang Valley and from neighbour State of Assam.
Meanwhile he informed that Specialist Doctors will soon be posted here which will bring much relief to the common people of the district and nearby areas.
Expressing concern over the A+ Category of HIV cases in the district, Dr. Chai stressed on the DAPCU to conduct mass awareness programmes in the district.
DC requested all the Medical staff to perform their duties sincerely and carry forward the legacy of service to mankind.
District Medical Officer Dr. S. Chai Pul briefed the members about various achievements of the Hospital and put forward some points before the Hon’ble Minister. She informed that number of infrastructure have been upgraded in the hospital like OPD building, Blood Bank Building, Sick New Born Care Unit etc because of the sincere effort of the Hon’ble Minister. However shortage of man power and resources sometimes becomes a hurdle in providing best medical care in the district.
