Teej Festival Celebrated in ITBP Campus

Teej Festival was celebrated in a colourful manner in the premises of North Eastern Frontier Head-Quarter, Indo-Tibetan Border Police ( ITBP ) Force, Khating Hill of Itanagar, on Friday,  under the guidance of HWWA Mentor Sint. Mamta Rawat. Sint. Gita Nityanandam W/o Sh. S. Nityanandam, IPS, DG, Arunachal Pradesh Police arrived as Chief Guest of the Teej festival function.

Teej-Festival-2On this occasion various cultural programmes were organized by Himveer families’ members. The main attraction of the event was Saawan Queen competition in which Mrs. Mitali was winner of the function besides the first runner up winner was Mrs Manisha Tejpal and second runner up was Smt Diksha Yadav who were crowned by the chief guest Mrs Gita Nityanandam.

Smt. Gita Nityanandam addressed to the gathering and appreciated the performance the families of ITBP personnel posted in such a far place from there home. She also added that the organizing such type of function are must because it keep the families away from stress and they are healthy and fit by enjoying together. She also expressed her deep happiness to be among the ITBP families.

Presently the command of NE FTR is in the hand of Sh. Manoj Singh Rawat, Inspector General who extends his valuable direction to the HWWA manch always for the betterment of the ITBP families. The programme was successfully conducted under guidance of Sh. M.Kumar, DIG(Ops). Sh. G.C.Upadhyay, DIG(Admn). Sh. B.Lalring Moheya, Asstt. Comdt also extended his support on the ocaasion. (
