Tamio Taga inaugurates 6th general conference of IFCSAP

Minister Power, Textile and Handcraft Tamio Taga today inaugurated 3 days 6th general conference of Indigenous faith & culture society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP ) at Bharat Scouts & Guide campus, Polo Colony here.

Taga in his address said that we do not play politico, earlier to this government we have committed to create a department for welfare of the indigenous people which have been done. It is for the protection of indigenous people of its activities.

No body should think anything against other as everybody have their own faith and belief for their wellbeing.

Nybus institution have been taking care of the indigenous activities and said that the Nybus should play important role and we should obey to them.

The prayer centre are named as Ganging, Meder Namlo and other which need to be unified into one which sometime show difference.

Our indigenous movement is still alive and have preserved one of the religion while it have turned into the matter of research in other country due to. However feel that the newly created department would work in the protection of the indigenous people of its tradition, art, language, culture etc of state.

He appeal the ingenious people to work in the interest of development of people and state a whole.

Parliamentary Secretary Food and Civil Supply and Ziro MLA Tage Taki while attending as guest of honour elaborated human being existence while dependent on nature, relationship of individuals with society and attachment with culture and tradition.

One can change their face, colour and look by change of dress and cosmetic but identify cannot be changed on pretext of superiority. Such superiority may detach the habits but not the identity. He said that the IFCSAP have greater role in connecting the people in maintaining national integration.

He also felt necessary to function the office of recently created department immediately for the welfare of the indigenous community of state.

He also appeal the community leader to transfer their knowledge on traditional value of folk lore, folk song, culture and oral knowledge to the younger generation so as it would be carried forward the legacy of the high value of tradition and culture of the tribal society. Taki added.

IFCSAP Chairman Dr. Ligu Tacho delivered his key note address and said that the deptt ‘DIFCA’ created by the government of Arunachal Pradesh was possible due to the young Chief Minister led by Pema Khandu understand the need for preservation of art, culture, tradition, language, literature, folk lore, folk song and culture.

Some one objection to it is not good. DIFCA creation is not against any religion and culture, rather appreciating which shall be for the preservation of culture and tradition of our indigenous tribal society but some one specially Christian organisation is criticising and they should think twice as it is created for preservation of identity of tribal community of state.

Secretary General Bai Taba while welcoming the guest said that the government of AP have created the department of DIFCA recently and it have been observed that word “Faith” been omitted from the nomenclature of the department without any information to any concern and show his concern.

Chief Information Commissioner Dr. Joram Begi in his address said that India is a country which is famous for unity in diversity and said that many philosopher and religion have come up in India like Jainism, Buddhism and Hinduism and tolerance to Christianity, the NE region is also where more than 200 ethnic groups are staying and maintaining secularism and said let us learn by the mistake committed by others.

Dr. Begi said that 2001 census figure of ingenious people of nature worship believers were 48 % and in 2011 census says it is decreasing and what would be in 2021 and said that we need to be unite but not against anyone but to care for ourselves. He shows is concern toward objection being made by some section of society and some organisation objecting the creation of DIFCA and said that is for the preservation of our tribal identity in time to come.

ADC, Capital Complex Talom Dupok , IFCSAP Vice President G Taza among other also address the gathering.

Senior leader and senior citizen IAS Retd. Y. D. Thongchi, former BJP President Taba Hare, AVP President Er. Techi Gubin, Er. Taba Tedir, , Dr. Tai Nyori, Er. Anong Perma among other were present on the occasion.

A souvenir “ The Radiant” was also released by the dignitaries.  Sanskar Bharati team led by Delong Padung perform devotional song. Various cultural items were performed by Kargu Gamgi, Itanagar.

Representative from all prayer centre like Rangfa, Amit metai, Donyi Polo Ganging, nyder Namlo  and Nyubus from all districts and delegates and others attended the function.
