SUMMA team visits Hari Village, distributes relief materials to fire victims

A  team of Lower Subansiri district unit of SUMMA led by its General Secretary Dugi Sangkio visited the Hari village on Monday and distributed the relief materials to the fire victims.

At least 11 houses were reduced to ashes in a devastating fire that broke out in Harivillage on Sunday afternoon. However No casualty has been reported yet, but the fire has caused huge loss of property.

The team met with grieved owner of the lost household and stake of the situation and distributed various relief materials like blanket, buckets, rice and all other  emergency aid materials they further urged the Deputy Commissioner who were also present on the incident site on departmental visit hereby asked early possible grant in aid and relief packages at the behest .

Further team also appreciated Fire brigade team despite poor road condition they reached and took control of the situation which  could be a very catastrophic incident.

The team also requested to villagers to be more cautious while handling the fire materials to avoid such untoward incidents.

The villagers thanked the team SUMAA – LSD for the prompt and noble gesture at this  hour difficulties.

Update-  relief from administration 

The District Administration distributed immediate relief to the victims of the devastating fire at Hari that engulfed 12 houses and partially damaged 5 houses on Sunday last today.  Immediate relief of Rs. 3800 as per norms was given to the 12 owners of the completely burnt houses and 3 tenants staying at a victim’s house.

ZPC  Hage Kobin along with DDMO Nima Drema and CO Olak Apang distributed the relief on behalf of the District Administration.
