A workshop on Digital India Land Record Modernization programme(DILRMP) was held today in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex. The DC Shri Sandeep Kumar Singh, IAS asked all the stakeholders especially the field officers to take advantage of the workshop and to extend their help and cooperation to the implementing agency Tajuk Technologies Pvt Ltd. Highlighting the objective of DILRMP, Timoty Taba, Vice President TTPL informed that the main objective of the programme is to develop a modern, comprehensive, transparent land record management system with an aim to implement conclusive land titling system with title guidance. The team of TTPL through a power point presentation explained the entire process of DILRMP, its advantages, shortcomings, challenges etc. They also stressed that digitization of Land Records would not only provide a transparent land record but also help in proper demarcation of land that will provide a comprehensive database for planning developmental, regulatory and disaster management activities by providing location specific information, while providing citizens services based on land records data. They also presented a short video of the said project in Haryana which is the first state in the country to successfully digitalize the land records in all the districts. They also explained the various stages of survey which would be required during its implementation such as pre survey, survey and post survey activities.
The First Binga Ete Memorial Football Tournament sponsored by Er. Gaken Ete, Secretary Science and Technology in memory of his father and organized by DSA Aalo got off to flying start at Aalo General Football today. Altogether 17 teams from the district are in the fray. Inaugurating the tournament, West Siang Deputy Commissioner cum Chairman DSA, Shri Gamli Padu exhorted the players to take the game with sportsmanship spirit to locate true football talents to take it as a profession. The govt. is also trying to promote sports activities in a big way in the state by increasing the quota to 10%. Since it is played in memory of a good soul, he insisted on taking it without any unwanted happenings. Er. Gaken Ete narrated life and history of his father and appealed players to take it in the right spirit as beauty of game lies in that only.The Secretary DSA, Shri Karik Lollen spelt out objective behind conducting such tournament from time to time to produce spots talent from the district. In the opening encounter between JC Bene and Tadin FC, both the teams were goalless in the first half. JC Bene scored the lone goal in dying
minutes of second half to seal the fate in its favour by a margin of 1-0. On the occasion, the prizes by district administration to three most clean sectors and three most clean villages of Aalo East and west were also given away to the winners.
East Siang Deputy Commissioner, Isha Khosla, gave away the prizes for the Drawing and Painting competition on the theme of Swachh Bharat on the concluding day of the Swachhta Pakhwada campaign here today . Mum Darrang from Sri Sri Vidya Mandir bagged the first prize, while Kari Riba and Kinenane Taloh, both from Siang Model School, received the second and third prize respectively. The Drawing Competition was held on Oct. 5 last. The weeklong Swachhata Pakhawada was launched by the East Siang District Administration on October 1 with various activities – Mass Plantation, Mass Social Service at Komlighat and Park, Market area and District Hospital, distribution of dustbins, Drawing and painting competition, nomination of Swachhta Senani (Cleanliness Volunteers) demonstration of low cost toilets , demonstration of compost pit. “Our work for creating awareness on cleanliness has begun” said the DC and called upon all Swachhta Senani (Cleanliness Volunteers) to take up the message of cleanliness by covering the sectors of Pasighat.
