Pasighat-  Online Jansuvidha Service Launched 

Online-jansuvidha-serviceEast Siang Deputy Commissioner Isha Khosla on Tuesday launched “Online Jansuvidha Service” under e-governance service to deliver PRC and TRC, a move that could eventually benefit people of East Siang District. Khosla speaking on the occasion has informed that initiative was taken by Debraj Singh DIO Pasighat and the software has been developed by NIC, Itanagar to access a digitalized certificates in transparent and time-bound manner. The system is in its primary stage but in coming days would also provide ILP, ST and other certificates etc through this hassle free online service. Administration would scrap the previous practice soon as it sometime leads to delays and harassment. The DC expressed hope this modern mechanism would benefit the common citizens and it would be more beneficial for the people residing in remote and inaccessible areas to obtain their required certificate(s), opined Khosla.

Aalo- Educational Awareness Tour

The United Students Federation of Aalo is on a week long educational Awareness Tour to different schools of Aalo and its vicinities from 23rd to 29th August. The tour programme was formally flagged off from Circuit House Aalo. The USFA will visit Govt. Secondary Schools of Pobdi, Nikte, Darka, Bagra, Kombo and Dego to give useful tip to the students community on value of education and assess problems faced by the student community in different schools. This students federation has been rendering useful services by organizing health and traffic awareness programmes in the past. The Awareness progarmme is headed by Jomgum Ete Chairman, Marker Lollen President, Tojum Ete General Secretary and Kapil Kamsi as vice President.

ChanglangChanglang-   Consumer Affairs Raid 

Inspector Legal Metrology and Consumer Affair and his team under the supervision of its Asstt Controller, J Taijong conducted a surprise checking, inspection and raid in the trading units of Changlang township, recently and booked 12 numbers of traders for violation of various provisions laid down in the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and Arunachal Legal Metrology(Packaged Commodities) Rule, 2011. Out of 12 Numbers of traders 07 of them were found NON DISPLAY OF VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE in the trading premises as required under the provision of the aforesaid Rules whereas 05 numbers of traders have been booked for selling of packaged commodities beyond MRP or printed price or non declaration of mandatory information, which is a violation against the provision of the legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rule, 2011 and corresponding Act, 2009.

Pasighat-  Firing Practice 

East Siang Deputy Commissioner Isha Khosla today has granted to 1839 Pioneer Unit, Rayang to conduct firing practice 25th to 30th August, 2016 (8am to 3pm)at Raneghat firing range, near Dangoria Baba Mandir, Sille River, Pasighat area. She has directed the people of Bogong area, head of departments/institutions not to allow cattles, other animals and human being to move within the said firing range area to avoid accident.

Parthenium Awareness Week CelebratedPasighat-  Parthenium Awareness Week Celebrated

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of College of Horticulture and Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat celebrated Parthenium Awareness Week from 16th-22nd August 2016. The programme was organised  in collaboration with the All India Coordinated Research Project on Weed Management . NSS volunteers spoke on the occasion while joining in the mass eradication of parthenium from the roadside of Raneghat area. ZPC East Siang Kaling Dai also joined the programme and appreciated the work of volunteers. Dr. Toge Riba, Dr. R.K.Singh. Mr. Devachandra and other faculty members were also present on the occasion. Krishna S.Tomar, NSS Programme Officer and Coordinator of the Programme while stressed upon the NSS unit always joins in social activities and suggested that the volunteers to take up this burning problem at village level.
