Scooty collided with Dumper- 1 dead, several injured

An person died while other seriously injured in a tragic road accident this morning when a Scooty collided with a dumper and Around 4.30 AM near Hatimatha, D Sector, Naharlagfun on NH-415.

The accident which occurred between Scooty and a Dumper bearing registration No-AS 06 AC 7512 was so heavy that both received grievous injuries who were immediately evacuated to the nearby hospital. The person were identities as  Hage Nado s/o Hage Taka aged around 24 years, ASI, 4th IRBN, Jully succumbed to injury at around 5.30 at TRIMS while other Gyati Talley s/o Gyata Taka, Head Constable (Telecom) posted at Doimukh Police Station is under going treatment and stated to serious.

Talking to Arunachal24 City SP, Dr. A Koan said that the accident between a Scotty and dumper collided at D Sector early this morning which one SI Hage Nado of 4th IRBN and one HC Gyati Talley  (T) received grievous injured and serious in TRIMS. The driver of the Tipper have been fled from the scene. On receipt of a complaint from one Hage Gambo a case at Naharlagun Police Station vide Case No-76/17 u/s-279, 338, 304 (a) IPC have been registered and manhunt for the absconding driver is being made.

Dr. Koan said that several check nakas have been intensified apart of normal checking at all check post, vehicle checking have also been increased and daily basis there have been a total nakas every day right from Itanagar to Banderdewa every day and night basis he said.

When asked about rise of road accident he said that it is mandatory to observed traffic rules after all rules are framed for safety and security. The riders have to think for themselves and for others also.  Precautionary measures need to be taken. No drink and drive, no use of mobile handset while driving. Use seat belt while two wheelers rider need to use helmet all the time while driving.

Mass awareness have also been increased by various means and appeal one and all to obey traffic rule Dr. Koan added.
