Roshni got rousing welcome here in the state capital, Itanagar after her selection in the FBB Miss India 2019.
The 19-year-old reigning Miss Arunachal, Roshni Dada will be representing Arunachal Pradesh in the FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2019 which will be held at Mumbai on June 15, 2019.
Today, Roshni got rousing welcome here in the state capital, Itanagar after her selection in the FBB Miss India 2019. She was selected in the FBB Colors Femina Miss India east zone audition, organised by the Miss India Organisation in Assam and Kolkatta on March last.
Girls from all the Northeast states participated in the event where the audition was held to select one girl from each state to represent their state at the finale of the FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2019, to be held in Mumbai in June next.
Hailing from East Kameng District, Roshni is a student of B.Sc Nursing and proud daughter of. Sasung Dada and Mrs. Sanari Dada of Jeju Dada Village in East Kameng district.
Speaking to reporters here at Arunachal Press Club (APC), Roshni expressed her gratitude to the organiser of Miss Arunachal for conferring her platform to reach the stage of India’s top beauty pageant.
“I still have a long journey to go through and I need the support as well as love so that I would make my state proud’ she said extending her gratefulness to her parents and well-wishers for supporting throughout her journey.
When asked about any nepotism in the national arena, she categorically replied ‘I haven’t faced any kind of nepotism as of now, everyone is so supportive and cooperative ‘.
Organising Secretary of Miss Arunachal, Tai Rocket informed that Roshni will represent Arunachal Pradesh and will compete with all the other beauty pageant from across the country in Mumbai in June next.
“From Now on we all have to support her in all possible means to encourage her and to make her in the top,” Rocket said adding that Beside Roshni, two more girls had also participated in the audition of FBB Femina Miss India 2019 – Dichenla Wangmo Thungon (Miss NEFA 2018 winner) and Apik Dai (Miss Arunachal 2019 Top 20 finalist and Miss NEFA 2017 2nd runner-up).
While responding to the query on any support from state government, Rocket said ‘government has already announced ‘Miss Arunachal’ event as state calendar event.
“Besides that, the concern departments like state Youth Affairs is extending all financial assistance to the winner for their encouragement and to participate in national event,” Rocket added.
Meanwhile, member of the Dada Welfare Society (DWS), Tallang Dada thanked the people of state for supporting her sister and let her pass the entire test and get to the finale.
“I request the people of our state and NE to shower the same love, support for her (Roshni Dada) in the form of ‘Like, Share and Comments’ on Facebook and Instagram, which is a medium to win other sub titles,” he said adding that her win will be the win of the state and a really proud moment for all of us.
