Robin Hibu inaugurates centre of ALS in state

Now the aspirants of civil service examination would not need to go outside state incurring Lakhs of rupees for coaching as on Friday, the Alternative Learning Systems (ALS), a premier coaching institute for UPSC examination has launched its new coaching center here in state capital in presence of IPS, Robin Hibu amidst media persons and staffers of the institute.

Sharing his long journey from just a village boy to an IPS officer, IPS, Robin Hibu emphasized on  developing the habit of hard work and lamented that only those having exceptional zeal, dedicated and sincerity with conviction can become a Civil service officer.

He pointed out that Arunachal being an isolated state still does not have proper institute to provide coaching to students who desired to become a civil service officer.

“Especially in compare with other states, the students of our states dreamt to become a civil service officer, but lack of proper institute in the state often demoralize them or due to expensive fees sought by institutes in mainland India. And a full-fledged comprehensive coaching center for civil services of national standard in the state has been one of the long felt desires for many aspirants, he added.

Hibu said with the launching of the ALS institute, now the students can avail the national standard level of coaching for UPSC examination here in state capital also and hoped that facilities and infrastructures being provided to the local students will be a stepping stones for their carrier.

Highlighting various scholarship programs and benefits provided under the institutions, the former  Nodal officer for North eastern at New Delhi disclosed that there are many scholarship schemes especially designed by institute for those hardworking aspirants from tribal society, who belong from poor backgrounds.

Furthermore Hibu disclosed  he had approached various MLAs of the state to sponsor 1 boy and 1 girl from their respective constituencies from their MLA LAD fund for civil service coaching and Donor ministry to invest more in Arunachal for those hardworking aspirants which belongs from unprivileged and marginalize sections of society.

Delivering a short speech, Nation Sales Head, ALS, Prateek Bhattacharya highlighted various scholarships schemes and benefits provided under the institutions  and stated that the institute offers comprehensive coverage of course  below one lakh fifty thousand. He said thta this is 51center of the country while last in the region while the institution is imparting coaching for last 20 years to the aspirants.

He also disclosed that fees for the various courses have been made affordable to cater to the needs of the students of Arunachal, but within the budget it offers diverse modules for preparations at par with other institutes.

He disclosed that the main distinguishing feature of the institute highly trained and experienced faculty and hoped that the initiative along with the facilities offered to the students by the institute would prove to be a deciding factor in the careers of students.

A presentation of works and services  rendered by a Non profit NGO, Helping Hand, which is working for cause of betterment of North eastern Peoples living in mainland India are also showed to Participants during the interaction programme.

A power point presentation was also made on various activities of the NGO helping hand and ALS on the occasion.
