Pul Visited Home district ANJAW

Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Kalikho Pul in his maiden visit to home district, Anjaw was accorded a warm welcome by the people of Anjaw District here on Sunday. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Dr Mohesh Chai, MLA Tezu, Laisam Simai, MLA Nampong, Heyomai Tawsik, ZPC Anjaw, Mamata Riba, DC Anjaw, Guni Pertin, SP Anjaw among others.

Soon after landing at Hawaii Helipad , Chief Minister visited under construction Polytechnique College at Hawai, and  directed the executing agency, EE PWD and the contractor increase the working hours and to work in double shift to complete in time. He directed the EE PWD to expedite the works of staff quarters and hostel buildings.

He asked the Deputy Commissioner, Anjaw to strictly monitor the progress of the work and to specially depute an officer for the purpose. He asked her to send him weekly progress report of the polytechnique college. He also asked them to send proposal for construction of guest house and playground for the polytechnique college at Hawaii.

The Chief Minister had an interaction with the HoDs of the district and discussed in details regarding the implementation of various schemes and projects in the district.

He asked the HoDs to remain up to date and update the datas on quaterly basis. He also asked the HoDs of work departments to make site inspection, to remain up to date with the progress of the work and to be accurate with the data.  He told them to view the project in totality, from head to tail till completion instead of focusing on only utilization of available fund. He further said them to remain fully prepare, if any technical problem arises, to come up with solution. And if any local problem arises during project implementation, he requested them to apprise him or the panchayat leaders of the area so that it can be sorted out without delay.

In his interaction with the HoDs, he appealed them to work for peace, progress, development and prosperity of the state wholeheartedly with sincerity and dedication irrespective of the area where they work.

He instructed the Deputy Commissioner to emphasis on monitoring of the quality implementation of various projects in the district.

He directed the Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police to strongly dealt with the law-breakers and trouble mongers saying that he will make no interference with the law enforcing authorities. While assuring to give full support from the govt in law and order maintenance, he asked the district administration and police to work boldly without any fear.

He further said that due to absent of an officer/official on leave, the official work should not be hamper. He asked the Deputy Commissioner to make link officers/officials and to direct the officers and officials on leave to handover full charge to the link officers/officials so that no office works are delayed due to absent of a particular officer or official.

HoDs apprised the Chief Minister about the grievances faced by the departments and the shortages of man powers in various departments.
