Pul meets Sonowal

Arunachal Chief Minister Kalikho Pul today made a courtesy call to the newly elected Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal here at Brahmaputra State Guest House.

The Arunachal CM in his brief meeting with the Assam counterpart urged on maintaining friendly relations between the two states of Assam and Arunachal. He urged to maintain all historical, cultural and age-old ties between the two states.

 Also in his confidence-building measure, the CM urged to resolve boundary issues through dialogue and peaceful means.

The Chief Minister also urged for working together on all development issues. The Chief Minister urged for close cooperation between the two states in developing hydroprojects in Arunachal and stressed on the need for taking confidence of the local people.

The CM also met Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma, Minister Finance, Ranjit Dutta, Irrigation Minister, Chandramohan Patowary, Commerce & Industry Minister, Rihan Daimary, PHE Minister, Biswajit Daimary, Rajya Sabha MP and Hagrama Mohilary, BTC Chief.
