Priyanka Gandhi to join active politic  

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as an Incharge of Eastern Uttar Pradesh will work and campaign in the area from which the prime Minister Narendra Modi parliamentary constituency falls.


New Delhi

Priyanka Gandhi to enter into active politic after being appointed as All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary for Eastern Uttar Pradesh by AICC President Rahul Gandhi today.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra daughter of former Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi and former AICC President Sonia Gandhi and wife of Robert Vadra as an Incharge of Eastern Uttar Pradesh will work and campaign in the area from which the prime Minister Narendra Modi parliamentary constituency falls.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be taking charge with effect on first week of February 2019, other appointment made today are Jyotiraditya Scindia as AICC General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh West with immediate effect, K.C Venugopal as AICC General Secretary (organisation) with immediate effect and will continue in his role as AICC General Secretary In-Charge for Karnataka while Ghulam Nabi Azad will now be AICC General Secretary for Haryana with immediate effect.

Priyanka born on 12 January 1972 (age 47 years), Delhi, married with Robert Vadra in 1997. Priyanka have two children Miraya Vadra and Raihan Vadra. She educated from university of Delhi.

APCC President Takam Sanjoy, Former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki, CLP leader Takam Pario in separate message to Arunachal24 congratulated Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on her appointment and entry into active politic.
