Minister Urban Development, Land Management & law and Justice Nabam Rebia while addressing the progressing fish farmers and officers of Fishery Department on the three days training on installation of PRF hatchery and breeding of carps at multiple fish farming ground of Tana Nikam at Sunajuli under Banderdewa Circle today.
Rebia said that progressive farmers should not wait what state can give you but think what you can contribute for the state in the process of development. He emphasis the need of work culture so that everyone can contribute something to the state and nation development. He appeal the fish farmers to trained and motivate more farmers so that the requirement of fish in the district could be made possible through such fish farmers for local requirement and would be a source of economic development of the farmers and also add to the employment generation for the unemployed youths in the that area.
He also visited the Tea plantation and Rubber plantation, piggery, duckling farming, floriculture and eco tourism development project by the progressive farmer Tana Nikam with the team members. He thanks the scientist of ICAR, Central Institute of fresh water aquaculture ( CIFWA), Kausalyaganga, Bhubneshwar, Odisa for their support in training of the farmers in state and appeal for such more programmes in different parts of state in future.
Rebia also provided completion certificates to twenty two progressive on the occasion.
