Passing Out Parade, held at CRPF’s Latur based Recruit Training Centre

275 young Constables took pledge and got passed out in a colorful and impressive Passing Out Parade, held  at Recruit Training Centre, CRPF, Latur on Sunday.

Dr. Sunil Baliram Gaikwad, Member of Parliament, Latur, graced the occasion and took the salute. He also inspected the Parade.

While addressing the newly passed out brave hearts of CRPF, he congratulated them on becoming part of the largest para military force in the world. He lauded the role being played by the force in maintenance of law and order and internal security, especially in the naxal effected areas of the country.

It is heartening to note that all four awardees belong to Northeast India.  Three of them from Assam.  Ct GD  Rekash Debbarama was awarded with the Best All Rounder Trophy. He belongs to village Barkhathal, in West Tripura. Ct GD Babul Gogoi was awarded with the trophy for Best in Outdoor. He belongs to village Gharphalisa, Jorhat, Assam. Trophy for Best in Indoor was bagged by Ct GD Ringkhang Brahma who hails from village West Gumargaon in Chirag District. The Trophy for Best Firing was awarded to Ct Gd Bijoy Chetry of village Balijan, Nepaligaon, Digboi in Assam. All of them belongs to Group Centre Guwahati.

The Constables who passed out have undergone 44 weeks of training including jungle survival, unarmed combat, firing etc. Despite facing the ire of severe water scarcity that’s prevailing in the region combined by scorching heat, these young constables endured a very tough training schedule. These battle ready young men will be deployed in various conflict threats areas of the country here forth.

It is pertinent to mention that Brigadier S K Sharma, YSM, DIG Training, CRPF, New Delhi who  has spent a long time of his military career in the North East and before retiring from the Army and joining the CRPF was the Deputy GOC of the Red Horn Division, was also present on the occasion and he  advised the new constables to constantly upgrade their professional skills and maintain utmost discipline.
