Pasighat- Smart Classroom launched in IGJGHS School

The  smart Classroom launched in Independent Golden Jubilee Govt. Hr. Secondary School, Pasighat using the Knowledge Yan (K-Yan) on Monday.

Speaking on the  occasion of launching of the Smart Classroom, Principal, Tatem Taloh said that, the new educational technique would give a big push to the school’s education system ushering in a bright future for the all students.

While teacher Lobsang Tayeng  said that, the new teaching technique using projector while displaying the subject/topic being taught will surely enhance the knowledge catch-up of students.

Tayeng also said that, the Smart Classroom teaching programme was started from 12 July as on trial basis, but the same was launched officially today.

At present, only class IX students taken under Smart Classroom and very soon Class X will also be considered, added school sources.

It must be mention here that , the ‘Smart Classroom’ project under Chief Minister’s Adhunik Shiksha Yojana in the state are undertaken through a tri-partite agreement between state’s education and IT department and EdCIL (India) Limited.

As per the agreement, the project would be introduced in Government-run primary, upper-primary, secondary and higher-secondary schools in the coming three years.

In the phase one of implementation, 713 Govt-run schools are being covered which includes 100 higher secondary schools, 182 secondary schools, 178 upper primary schools and 253 primary schools.

To implement the new teaching system successfully, 21 master trainers and 1097 teachers across 21 districts in the state have been imparted training on ‘Smart Classroom’.
